Arizona Film Locations

Arizona is a popular location for filming, whether it's a full-length feature, a TV commercial or a print ad. The state's Film Office provides an array of services for filming at city-owned sites and other locations throughout the metropolitan areas. Among the services provided are initial location scouting, production and film permit information and acting as a liaison between your company, government offices and the community. You'll also find practical information and a photo gallery of potential film locations, including airports, homes, mountains and deserts, parks, rivers, farms and churches.

Arizona is a very beautiful place filled with great people. Communities big and small welcome production companies, city and state agencies are cooperative and competent and all are ready to take on any challenge presented. Beautiful vistas, spectacular mountains, bustling modern cities or old, turn-of-the-century small towns can be found in this diverse state. Great locations, experienced crews, all the equipment you need under the bright sun -- this is a great place to shoot!

Arizona has enjoyed a long history of hosting productions. Starting with the first western in Tucson in the early 1920s to the multi-camera reality show shot recently in Maricopa, the state of Arizona has welcomed all. So whether a big or small feature film, a national commercial, a television series or a knockout multi-media program at a world-class resort, producers have found the talent, the crew and the gear here in Arizona necessary to meet their goals for success. The Pepper Group™ Diversified Real Estate web site represents a current resource to find the tools and professionals for any production.

Arizona is the home of Phoenix, Tucson, Lake Mead, Grand Canyon National Park, Flagstaff, Lake Havasu City, Navajo Indian Reservation, Lake Powell, Yuma, Nogales, Scottsdale, Petrified Forest, and Tombstone.
